9 Mukhi Nepali Rudraksha :- Navamukhi Rudraksha is blessed by Durga (the goddess of power), who has appeared on earth nine times to protect the devotees. Their names as Nava Durga are: Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katyayani, Kalaratri, Mahagauri and Siddhidatri.
They are specially worshiped during Navratri. According to Padmapurana and Srimaddevi Bhagavata Purana, Lord Bhairav blesses this seed and removes the sins of those who wear it. The person who wears it becomes fearless and stress free and wearing it purifies the inner mind through fire. It makes the wearer strong and self-confident.
According to Rudraksh Jabalopanishad, nine types of powers are contained in this grain. It protects the wearer from premature death, as it is blessed by Bhairav, also known as Kaal Bhairav. Yamraj, the god of death, is also known as Kaal, hence both Kaal and Kaal Bhairav protect the wearer of Navamukhi Rudraksha. For this reason it is called Kalbhay Nivarak. Its controlling planet is Ketu.
9 मुखी नेपाली रुद्राक्ष :- नवमुखी रुद्राक्ष पर दुर्गा (शक्ति की देवी) का आशीर्वाद है, जो भक्तों की रक्षा के लिए नौ बार पृथ्वी पर प्रकट हुई हैं। नव दुर्गा के रूप में उनके नाम हैं: शैलपुत्री, ब्रह्मचारिणी, चंद्रघंटा, कुष्मांडा, स्कंदमाता, कात्यायनी, कालरात्रि, महागौरीऔर सिद्धिदात्री।
नवरात्रि में इनकी विशेष रूप से पूजा की जाती है। पद्मपुराण और श्रीमद्देवी भागवत पुराण के अनुसार, भगवान भैरव इस बीज को आशीर्वाद देते हैं और इसे धारण करने वालों के पापों को दूर करते हैं। इसे धारण करने वाला व्यक्ति निडर और तनाव मुक्त हो जाता है और इसे धारण करने वाला अग्नि के माध्यम से आंतरिक मन को शुद्ध करता है। यह पहनने वाले को मजबूत और आत्मविश्वासी बनाता है।
रुद्राक्ष जाबालोपनिषद् के अनुसार इस अन्न में नौ प्रकार की शक्तियां समाहित हैं। यह पहनने वाले को अकाल मृत्यु से बचाता है, क्योंकि इसे भैरव का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त है, जिसे काल भैरव भी कहा जाता है। मृत्यु के देवता यमराज को काल के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, इसलिए काल और काल भैरव दोनों ही नवमुखी रुद्राक्ष धारण करने वाले की रक्षा करते हैं। इस कारण इसे कालभय निवारक कहा जाता है। इसका नियंत्रक ग्रह केतु है।
